David Allmon arrived in the Bay Area in 2001, having previously hailed from Midland, Texas and Boston, MA. He is currently Principal Trombone of the Nova Vista Symphony Orchestra, and has recently performed with the Redwood Symphony, Saratoga Symphony, and South Valley Symphony. While attending MIT, he was Principal Trombone of the MIT Symphony Orchestra and performed with the Civic Sympony Orchestra of Boston, Hingham Symphony Orchestra, and the New England Philharmonic. He also studied with Lawrence Isaacson (Director of Brass Studies, Boston Conservatory) and frequently performed in Master Classes at the Boston Conservatory, including performances for Norm Bolter (Principal Trombone, Boston Pops), and Mark Lawrence (Principal Trombone, San Francisco Symphony). He completed his S.B. Degree in Mechanical Engineering at MIT, with a Minor in Music, in 2001 and is currently a Partner Business Manager at Hewlett-Packard Co. |
