Greg studied tuba on scholarship with Scott Force at Lehigh University (PA). Performed in quintets, orchestras, concert bands and brass bands while attending Lehigh U. and Northwestern U. (IL), in northern New Jersey and with various Northern California groups since moving here in early 2000 (San Jose Wind Symphony, Mission Chamber Orchestra, Santa Clara University Orchestra, Saratoga Symphony, Palo Alto Philharmonic, Redwood Symphony, Viva La Musica!).

Originally a saxophonist who picked up bass brass in high school, Greg tries to stay in touch with his tenor sax / small jazz ensemble and big-band improvisational playing as well, but being outnumbered by the household brasses (BBb contra- and F-solo tubas, bass trombone) that tenor sax doesn't get out as much as it should!
