This free outdoor concert includes selections from Porgy and Bess, Russian Sailor’s Dance, Four Finnish Dances, Slavonic Dance No. 8, As Time Goes By, and more. Featured soloists will be Jolynda Tresner, soprano, singing works composed by her husband, Brian Holmes, a member of SBB, and Bob Lipton, tuba, performing Rumanian Dance No. 2.

Saratoga Federated Church

The concert includes Vivaldi’s Winter from The Four Seasons, Bach’s Mighty Lord and King Glorious from Christmas Oratorio, jazzy arrangements of popular Christmas tunes, and a sing-a-long! SBB will be joined by the SFC Handbell Choir and Mary Norton, Organ. Admission is free, but we are asking audience members to bring canned goods (or a check) to be donated to CityTeam, which provides food, quality used clothing and household items to families in need throughout the year.

Two soloists will be featured for this concert. Steve Anderson will play Christmas Song on flugelhorn, and Greg Tyler, tuba, will play Swingle Bells by Raymond Burkhart.
